Ampeg R212R Customer Review
Sound
i owned the earlier version of this amp and every musician that heard
play through it said that was the wettest reverb they ever heard.
the true tube tone was amazing, i could go from blues to jazz to rock
without a hitch, and then take easy on country, alternative, or even pop music. no matter the style of music, it always carried an even
balanced tone, and with it's reverb ! sweet!
Musical Background:
active musician
Musical Style:
blues, rock, but i play all styles

I have always thought this Ampeg R212R Reverberocket amp was very under-rated, and people who have heard this amp, are very imperessed! It covers the lows and highs very well, has plenty of power on its oun to stand up to a heavy handed drummer, and Ampeg was the first out to have Reverb in a combo amp! No,..its not a Marshal nor a Fender, but it stands up there with the best of them!
Its a Quality Amp..American made..Hand Wired AB Tube Monster..great value for the Buck..60 pound Workhorse! I would buy another..its that good!
Musical Background:
Active Band Member/Semi-Pro
Musical Style:
Classic Rock/Modern/Blues/Origionals

This is one sweet, sweet amp. Forget Fender, this Ampeg blows them out of water for tone, reverb, value, etc.!
