The Vater MVB4 marching bass drum mallets are designed for 28"-30" sized drums and feature a super hard felt head, with a shaft that's tapered at both ends.

"For 28"-30" drums. Vater MVB4 Marching Bass Drum Mallets feature Hickory shafts with a taper at both ends for great balance and strength where it is needed, just under the super hard felt head. That adds a bit more weight in the throw for a fuller sound. It's meant for 28"-30" drums.
