Plug in your passive speakers to the TEAC AH01 amplifier, and listen to your computer, CD player, TV, or game system via the S/PDIF, optical, and USB inputs.

The Teac AH01 DA Converter with Stereo Amplifier is based on ICE power technology capable of providing up to 2 x 60 watts of clean power for signals processed through a high resolution, 32 bit, 192 kHz DA converter chipset from the experts at Burr Brown.

A PC or MAC computer can be connected to the Teac AH01 DA Converter via the Tenor USB Audio Class 2 input on the rear panel. Processed digital signals are then routed through the amplification stages to attached passive loudspeakers of your choice. A subwoofer pre-out connection is provided for those wishing that extra punch. Four inputs, two analog and two digital, allow the connection of external sources.

The system remote control is a standard accessory with the Teac AH01 DA Converter and operates the amplifier functions as well as other matching reference H01 family components.

While it doesn't have A/B switching which would have made this perfect, its not really the kind of unit with that kind of function in mind I suppose. The dedicated subwoofer out makes up for that a bit. It also has pre-amp functions which allow you to switch between sources with the touch of a button. I have Coxial in from my soundcard, RCA in from Direc tv, a 2nd RCA in is available and an optical in. Great big volume dial and well built. Sound is definitely an entry into HI-FI with its onboard DAC. Lastly ZZounds is the place to buy everything, great service and prices. They are my place for all things audio for good. I have this amp, a little phatty and sound card unit all from them and they can expect many more purchases in the future. A+
