Overview
The Taylor 114 2012 Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar is part of the 100 and 200 Series: Premium guitars that will change your expectations about what a serious entry-level instrument can embody. Featuring solid Sitka spruce tops and either layered sapele or layered Indian rosewood back and sides, both series deliver the quality sound and feel you'd expect from a Taylor. Now available with Taylor's Under-Saddle Transducer pickup, Taylor is raising the bar on their "basic" guitars.
Like the 200 Series, the 100 Series incorporates layered Sapele back and sides, which offer extra resilience to fluctuating climate conditions, and a slightly narrower 1 11/16-inch neck. It's one of the best full-size guitars you'll find for the money, especially with the availability of Taylor's ES-T pickup. It makes a viable performance tool, a great entry-level guitar, or a second utility guitar for alternate tunings.

Fantastic guitar value. I gave my Yamaha to my son and replaced it with this guitar. The tones are full and clear with nice chime and clarity. Perfect finish, easy to play and beautiful to look at. Just a great guitar for the monies.
