The VS-R264 live stream encoder addresses the growing demand for an external stand-alone YouTube encoder in live streaming environments. Additionally, the VS-R264 provides Full HD streaming to popular Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) including Wowza, Ustream, AWS Elemental MediaLive and CloudFront, to name a few. Simultaneous transmission of 3 channels using the RTMP streaming protocol is possible (with firmware V1.1.0). The half-rack size VS-R264 functions as a stand-alone unit -- no external computer is needed for recording or streaming.

TASCAM DISCOVERY App and Web-GUI allow easy remote management of multiple VS-R unit systems

The Mac/Windows "TASCAM DISCOVERY" app allows multiple VS-R units connected to the network to be managed from a simple Web-browser based GUI. All configuration settings are saved within the VS-R devices, so that in normal operation no computer is needed for streaming or recording.

No AC Adaptor Required for Commercial AV Installations

PoE+ functionality eliminates the need for AC adaptors in AV installations. Optional TASCAM AC power supply sold separately where external AC power is required.
Power supply also can be done by the optional AC adapter (TASCAM PS-P1220E; sold separately).
