I bought these for a brand new 60s faded Les Paul standard that I also bought from zZounds. The stock pickups where lame and I wanted something that not only added to the sound but the looks as well. They did just that. They are better than the stock pickups and they look great. Nicely aged. They sound way better than a regular JB/Jazz, not harsh at all. Almost worth the very expensive price tag. I like them but would not buy them again. Wasn't sure if I even liked them at first. Sounded like it was stuck with the tone on 7. But I gave it a few days and the more I play with them the more I like them. So yeah I guess I would buy them again. Make my Les Paul look great. After all it is a 60s and these look like they could be from the 60s. And they are better than a regular JB. Way better.

Musical Background:

Old school metal. Danzig, slayer, iron maiden. Etc.

Musical Style:

Hard rock mostly
