Well, I wanted this basically for its EP sounds, but I have to say I am very impressed with all its sounds, some of which I never thought I would use. As to the EP, the Vintage and Phase are particularly amazing, especially when used with the sustain pedal (which ships with the machine!). They sound way better in person that I have heard them on videos online. I knew they would. They have the tines in the sound, but not too much tine sound. Very nice. Tremolo EP is cool, too, but a bit thinner, I think. The Wurly allows you to get a nice early Steely Dan vibe going and while I would have never thought I'd like the Fantasy EP sound, I do. Not as much of a fan of the FM EP - I mean, it just does not sound as much like I expect it should. I'm looking for it having a good "Doogie Howser" theme song sound, but it's just a little off. I'm also a bit disappointed in the Clav sound, as well, but if I bump the octave one notch lower it seems okay. Grand Piano is amazing, especially faithful to a real one at the octave extremes. I love the Perc Organ, but it's got a little too mcuh click in it, and I wish there was an adjustable draw bar and rotary sound on it, but that's not what this keyboard is really for so I'm okay with that. What surprised me was how much I liked the Jazz Scat sound - It's got some really cool algorithm that allows for some cool effects. As to its build, the Keys feel great - I like the matte texture and they do not feel cheap at all. They are not weighted, but they read more have a very good feel and I think they are actual size of a keyboard's keys which is cool for keyboard players, not so cool for "wanna be key playing drummers" like me. The overall case is nice but I'm not a fan of the soft touch buttons, but they seem strong, precise and solid. The graphics kind of make it look a little like a toy, but the sounds and the feel are very pro. I would use this on stage as a EP or Grand Piano emulator with no problem. You can't beat Roland sounds.I do like using it with the Piano 2 app - whatever it's called - especially for the rhythm functionality. I was hoping there would be more sounds or controls available int eh remote mode, but you can't adjust the reverb through it - have to do that on the board itself. The weakest part is that since this is such a nice feeling keyboard, I would love to use this as a controller. I think I can by plugging the USB into my computer, but I have not yet tried it and the manual says NOTHING about its USB midi. This is going after the app and Bluetooth crowd, which is not at all what I wanted, but it was THE cheapest way for me to get in to a good sounding vintage EP with that was nice sounding and nice playing. So, all in all, it does what I want it to do and then some.I do love how you can set the feel to light, medium or heavy. I set mine to heavy - requiring me to use a heavy touch - which seems to really work well for the EP sounds.Oh, and as I said this comes with the AC adapter AND a little sustain pedal. Not a heavy duty pedal, but nice that it lets you use sustain right out of the box. Had some other stuff like an intro subscription to some music learning thing with a nice booklet and a music stand that I'll never use and eventually loose, but overall, I love this for way more reasons that why I bought it.
