Overview

The Martin DJr-10 Dreadnought Junior Series is designed for players looking for big Dreadnought sound in a slightly smaller body. The updated Junior is available with a sapele or Sitka spruce top, sapele back and sides in a rich cherry hue, and a hand-rubbed neck. The updated Junior models sport a thinner, 000 body depth with softer back edges to provide maximum comfort while playing. Every Junior model is available with or without Fishman Sonitone electronics, and all include a form-fitted nylon gig bag for easy transport.

Absolutely beautiful finish & fast shipping as advertised. No crap electronics to deal with and comes ready to bore the strap jack hole to add a quality electrification option. Also has a strap pin in bag if you don't need electronics. Pssst - read about and check out the Seymour Duncan Mag Mic, together they are incredible. Action is a little high on every new Martin I've seen so be ready to do a setup. The one sent came with Martin Retro Monel Nickel strings, the first nickel strings I've heard that have sounded superb and natural. The wood is smooth and well sanded and the neck is highly playable. One can find joy even in staring at it's beauty on a stand. The payment plans work out great for us and zZounds customer service has been very decent. The bag is a bit flimsy, no big deal & that's the only real negative on this one I've noted so far. Thank you zZounds & Martin!
