No bulky plugs or add-ons are needed for the solderless harness to work. Just strip back your existing wires from your pickups and guitar, insert them into the solderless connector, and you're done!

Note: Guitars made overseas may require you to enlarge the holes for the larger US spec pots to fit. You will also need to change the metric knobs to inch sized set screw knobs and the switch tip. 4-way mod requires a separate wire from the neck pickup cover (if it has a cover) for shielding. If you don't have this wire, you can cut the jumper from the cover to the eyelet and solder a separate wire to the cover. Some control plates need the switch slot to be slightly elongated for the extra travel on the 4-way switch. This can be done with a small file or metal saw blade.

Thanks MOJOTONE this i an a little late but I just remembered, I purchased this pre wired harness new.after installed the volume pot had a dragging sound you could feel and hear with amp off and also the sound came through the amp as well, NOW I get that this is non returnable because usually these items you need to use a soldering iron,,at which I am very good at using and could have made my own wiring harness,but this is a solderless unit,no soldering is required, so I took a chance and reached out to zZounds and they would not replace it,recommended i call mojotone after a long drawn out conversation they said send it back to us and we'll repair it ok...I sent it, item has disappeared..Thanks..I recommended 920D
