Heritage Audio BT-500 Bluetooth Streaming Receiver Module

You're in the studio. You need to listen to tracks on a mobile device. Bypass that smartphone's cheap DAC -- stream Bluetooth audio to the Heritage BT-500!

The Heritage Audio BT-500 Bluetooth receiver streams audio from your mobile device over Bluetooth and delivers a fully balanced, +22dBu stereo output.

This module fits 500 series racks. Install this module in a 500 series chassis, and the chassis' output jack is the right-channel output of the BT-500, while the input jack becomes the left-channel output of the BT-500 using an XLR Male to XLR Male turnaround adapter (included in the package).

Employing audio-specific Bluetooth technology, the best Codecs your devices can support, and a state-of-the-art, Burr Brown based analog signal path, the BT-500 solves the already classic, irritating problem of connecting your iOS or Android device to your Studio setup. Previously, this has been solved using minijack to XLR adapter cables, but the limitations of mobile devices' analog audio paths have become clearly apparent.

Listening to references on the iTunes Store, recordings sent by email, Spotify, You Tube, you name it -- you do it every day, all the time. Integration has been non-convenient to say the least, until now.

Features:

- Bluetooth receiver with balanced audio output
- Fits 500 series racks, using the rack's input and output jacks as its stereo output
- Codec LEDs: Shows the codec used
- Antenna: Over 100m
- Rest: Resets any connections
- Sync: LED is ON when device is paired
