Gretsch G9531 Double 0 Appalachia Cloud Acoustic Guitar

That tortoiseshell headcap isn't the only thing that sets this Gretsch apart. Its compact body size and solid Sitka spruce top bring singing, resonant tone.

Rich in voice and style, ROOTS COLLECTION Acoustic Guitars represent a level of design, detail and craftsmanship not seen since days long gone. Inspired by tradition, yet rooted in pure Gretsch sensibility, these instruments speak with voices that harken back to a bygone era of "living room" choruses and prairie melodies.

Dressed to impress with a stunning tortoise headcap with pearl logo and upgraded pearl inlay design, the G9531 Style 3 Double-0 model sounds out loud with a big, rich bass that is full and under control. The high-end is very liquid; not too fast and folds into the tone with a nice, decaying bloom that seems to float through the room.

- Solid Sitka spruce top with laminated mahogany back and sides
- 12-fret, Double-0 construction

- Handmade, all-wood early "Arts & Crafts" era marquetry
- Stunning tortoise headcap with pearl logo
- Upgraded pearl inlay design
- "Appalachia Cloudburst" finish

With a 1 3/4 nut.. and a nice full feeling neck. You can't beat this guitar..The Look of it from the Inlays to the headstock, it's just a beauty.. solidly constructed. And great tone.. it needs a setup to lower the action a bit .. but I plays great right out of the box.I'm used to Jumbo's and Dreadnoughts I don't like sacrificing tone in a smaller body..That was my worry.. and it is less sound in the small body.. and that is the case. But the build quality and feeling of the Neck.Portability and ease and comfort of playing make this guitar well worth the buy.Thoughts after a month of owning item.*My 5 star manufacturer support rating is for zZounds customer service. I've never dealt with Manufacturer.
