Much of the Gibson Hummingbird Vintage Acoustic Guitar's appeal lies in its versatility. However you attack this flat-top, it pumps out rich, deep tones, and is equally at home strumming first-position chords as it is taking the spotlight for picking lead lines. Its spacious mahogany body and sweet, select Sitka spruce top are more than capable of nailing down the rhythm in the hands of a rock and roll sideman, or accompanying the most nuanced performance under the fingers of today's alternative singer-songwriter.

First off I want to start off with the one negative. The guitar was received with one screw missing where the tuners screw in to the back of the headstock. zZounds is working on getting a screw from Gibson. Other than this one thing, I have to say this guitar is by far the best guitar I’ve ever held in my hands! I have a Martin HD 28 and this guitar is by far my favorite! I Wont even touch my Martin! It is very balanced, has a great bass response but is not overwhelming! The shaped of the neck is so easy to play and very comfortable! The action is superb and the intonation is impressive! I can actually use a capo and not have to adjust the tuning! The finish is flawless! The guitar beautiful and sounds even better! I would buy it again for sure!
