Not a conventional TRS-to-TRS cable, this special cable connects a mixer's direct outs to your Cymatic LR-16 recorder's inputs. Includes two 8-channel looms.
Overview
The Cymatic Audio LR-16 recorder uses insert-style connections and requires a special cable or TS-to-TRS adapters to connect to line-level direct outputs of a mixer or device.
Use these two 8-channel cable looms to connect the "direct out" jacks of your mixer to your Cymatic LR-16 recorder.
The Cymatic Audio LR-16 has 16 TRS-style jacks (not counting the stereo line outputs). Each of the 16 jacks functions as an inputs and outputs simultaneously: the input is wired to the tip, and the output is wired to the ring.
A conventional TRS-to-TRS cable will provide full send/return functionality, routing audio from your mixer's insert jacks, to the LR-16, and back to the mixer.
The Cymatic LR-16 Cable Set (Two 8-Channel TRS Looms) isn't a conventional TRS-to-TRS cable. Rather, it's a special cable where the "Ring" is left disconnected -- ideal for setups where you're using the mixer's direct outs to send audio to the LR-16, and don't need to send it back to the mixer.
