Cut through the mix with a monster kit! The Tama SLP Big Black steel drum kit is modeled after the SLP Big Black snare to provide maximum power and volume.

Modeled after Tama's very popular S.L.P. Big Black 8"x14" snare drum, this limited Big Black Steel kit features 1.0mm Steel shells provide maximum power and volume, making it the ideal choice for drummers who need to cut through the crushing din of overbearing guitar amplification. Remarkably, the sound characteristics of this classic 16"x22" BD, 9"x13" Tom, 16'x16" FT configuration casts an extremely warm and fat sound. The drums penetrate with power, but do so with a rich and warm timbre. The Matte Black drum shell finish combined with the shimmering black nickel drum hardware further elevates this kit's level of coolness. Tama's HTS58F the Classic Tom Stand to mount the 9"x13" tom is included. This S.L.P. kit is limited to 2019 production.

This is one of the best selling drum sets I've ever owned! I've owned at least 25 drum sets in my life and this thing rocks! The bass drum is the best sounding and lowest sounding I've ever heard, especially for being a 22. Very comparable to a 16x24. I think the Tom sound best with clear heads in my opinion. If you put coated heads on this, especially a two ply, They just get really warm and sing for days. Which does not work for most music that I play. People say they're really loud but I don't personally hear it. They just have a warm round tone due to the rounded bearing edge. I complimented this kit with a SLP brass snare and it's a winning combination! Highly recommend these drums!
