ZVEX Vibrophase Phaser Pedal

No longer available at zZounds
Based on the steampunk-esque Candela Vibrophase, this ZVEX creation makes the effect pedalboard-friendly and adds more controls to tailor the perfect sound.

The ZVEX Vibrophase is a five-knob, four-stage analog phaser. It is a condensed "pedal" version of the Candela Vibrophase, a unique solid brass art sculpture / effects unit, which is entirely powered by a single tea light candle. Like its big brother the audio path of Vibrophase is entirely analog. In a departure from the Candela's Steam Punk ethos, ZVEX employed digital micro-controller technology to expand the range of the "speed" control. ZVEX also added unique "High Bias" and "Low Limit" controls. These knobs "voice" the effect by selecting the range of frequencies that are swept.

The ZVEX Vibrophase uses high quality Nuetrik jacks and Alpha switches. The powder coated die cast aluminum enclosure is overlaid with vibrant digitally printed graphics, and protected by a tough coating of clear lacquer, similar to a high-quality car finish.

The ZVEX Vibrophase ships with 9-volt battery in factory box, The 4.25 x 2.25 x 2 inch 10 oz pedal comes wrapped in a shop rag, tied a with ponytail holder. Warranty card and instruction sheet are also included. Current draw varies from approximately 20mA, to as much as 50mA depending on settings. Power supply is not included.

Pedal Dimensions (LxWxH): 4.3125" x 2.625" x 2"
