At this point, I've seen no reviews on zZounds for this guitar. I bought mine from zZounds and it was in my hands in no time. I'll start with the things I did not like (nothing specifically wrong to effect my rating. These things are common with new guitars at every price point):-The tuners are less than stellar. Replace them. At this price point, that's no big deal and a very common thing. I bought a set right after ordering this guitar. Replaced them myself with a quality brand that I won't mention because they aren't sold on this site, however there may be a clue further down. Just make sure you get a 3 x 4 set specifically. -The factory setup was virtually non existent. Also, not a big deal at all. Everyone has their preferences and should expect to have a new guitar setup at any price point.-The nut wasn't cut very well, but it's absolutely fixable with a little filing. That covers what I didn't like. -The build quality is on point. No sharp fret edges and the finish is fantastic. It's not too heavy or so light that it feels cheap. The satin finish on the back of the body feels nice and the back of the neck is silky smooth. There's a nice belly cut in the back of the body too. The bridge is really nice.... Seems like the people that make the bridge also make other components that would improve the tuning functions..... -The pickups SLAM. Awesome bite with high gain, warm and articulate clean. For passive pickups, these are awesome on the 7 string.- The fret work is really read more well done. -The knobs are just knobs with a little rubber ring on them. It's a nice touch but not earth shattering. The switch feels good and the output jack seems solid. I bought the blue burst and it's outstanding. Schecter hit a home run. If you've never played a multiscale, don't fret. Just play as you normally would and you'll find that your hands know what to do. The extra tension on the low B really keeps the sound tighter and less flubby. You can dig in pretty hard with a nice clear articulation. If this is your first venture into extended range guitars, it's a breeze. Going from 6 to 7 is no big deal at all. In the past, I've owned 8s and found that to be a little intimidating but I have zero problems with 7s.
