What a kick in the pants this gizmo is! I was having fun with the wah and delay effects which was a truly amazing sound from a bass. The looper is very cool, and I plan on using it to create guitar licks to a new song bass line. Lots Of Fun! Read the directions, at first it's a little weird, but then it's a blast! (I had to return the first one I received because it didn't work, and zZounds sent another one at their expense - you guys rock!)

So I just took delivery of a brand new Zoom B1on. Recently I've been GASing for a portable headphone amp that could fit in my gig bag and that also has a bunch of effects. I kept looking and looking until I stumbled upon this thing. I'm not trying to hype this thing up, and I am NOT a Zoom endorser, but I am VERY impressed. It has pretty much all of the same effects and layout as the Zoom MS60B except that it doesn't have the hum/noise issues (at least not that I can tell) and sounds much better. This thing does everything: drum patterns, tuner, effects pedal, looper, headphone amp, aux input, cabinet modeling, etc. The only things that it's missing (at least for what I like) is a DI and recording interface. It has a USB input but it's for firmware updates. The effects on this thing sound great and it makes my basses sound like gold. It weighs only a couple of pounds, runs on batteries, and just sounds amazing! The interface on it is very intuitive and user friendly. Here's the best part..... IT'S ONLY $50! How is that even possible for a piece of gear this awesome?!? I gave "Quality" only four stars because the housing does feel a bit cheap but if you handle this thing with care then you shouldn't have any problems. I would highly encourage you to check this thing out. You might not like it as much as I do, but boy am I impressed and happy! It was exactly what I was looking for.

The Zoom B1on is more than I bargained for its well made with a very well quality and detailed price of equipment. To buy just a looper alone will cost you 3 times the amount of the Zoom. But to be able to use multi-effects a drum machine and a looper all-in-one unit saves a lot of time and $$, not to mention reducing the hassle of buying and having multiple pedals to achieve what Zoom gives you in 1 pedal is a no brainier Glad I bought this product
