I use 2 different sizes: zildjian 7A for faster but smoother beating. vic firth 5A for harder and louder beating. this size is obviously more durable. I wouldn't change my sticks for the moment, I'm well satisfied with the ones I use!!
Sound
they're light, so you can beat faster, getting less tired than using a 5A pair, for example.
Quality
high quality, good wood, resistant. zildjian 7A are not as heavy as other sticks of the same size, so it's easier to use them for a longer uninterrupted performance!
