should last a lifetime I'm not a heavy hitter!!
Sound
these cymbals have a great sound, with body and control, a smooth shimmer with a light tap, and an explosive attack with a nice short to medium roll off. I have the 16" & 17" compared them to Zildjian A customs & Sabian AA & AAX & HHX, the others were brighter with a different textured sound(hard to explain) the Sabians sounded brittle to me and prone to breakage according to some drummers I've talked to. However the Sabians were louder with less stick effort. I think they are better suited to Metal!! I play classic rock & blues the K Hybrids seem smooth & perfect for that crossover. I also pcked up a K Custom Dark crash(18") which complements the others beautifully along with a K Custom Hybrid ride(20"). The K series is pricey but you get what you pay for( a smooth classic sound).
Features
Hand-hammered, lathed & brilliant surfaces offer different tone & textures in your sound with nice bells for accents.
Ease of Use
put it on a stand & hit it!!
Quality
I've never had a Zildjian let me down!!! I've had a Paiste fail me once(that's enough) and I've seen Sabian fail for others but never owned any.
Value
K series is pricey but I keep buying them
Manufacturer Support
wouldn't know never needed them. that says it all
The Wow Factor
hand hammered two tone finish looks pretty cool with stage lighting, but it's the sound your after. Looks are just a bonus.

The 19" K Custom Hybrid has great initian crash and nice tones following... I have the 17, 16, 11splash, 21 ride, and 14.25 Hihats... this is a great set for the music I play... rock, contemporary christian, alternative, some latin, and country... from pinging to crashing these cymbals are expressive with so many different sounds... and yet in nice harmony with each other...

You get the best of both worlds. Thick in the middle, thinner on the outside. Makes for a great sound, and a unique looking cymbal.

TOTAL satisfied bit more ompf but cant complain it is a sweet cymbal
Sound
the sound is really really nice a little thin sometimes but it is up against a 20 inch a custom which cuts through anything! the feel of it is really nice and it is the best cymbal l have ever bought it is durable and is great for the studio! live would be better for small gigs and it plays well with rock kits and jazz fusion.
Features
shiney
Ease of Use
plug and play
Quality
well made, no imperfections no problems, since its a thin cymbal it needs to be taken care of though
