I bought the Yamaha psr e433 primarily to use as a vst plug in controller for my daw. I could have just purchased a midi controller but decided this piece of kit would fit my needs just the same, plus give me the benefit of using it as a standalone unit with its built in speakers and multitude of on board sounds and loops. It has actually helped me write a few songs too. Great price point, high quality considering the price..

What a wonderful experience I have had. I was short on cash at the time and zZounds.com let me purchase this wonderful keyboard on easy payments. And I love this keyboard. It has been a great experience using this keyboard. For one thing, it is not real big--but it is plenty big enough for what I need--and that also makes it more portable. Also the sound is very good--I also like the fact that it has Songs already in the keyboard and you can play along with these songs. Also it has different Styles on the keyboard and an Accompaniment Feature--I really like that. But the main thing which I like about this keyboard, is the ability to Record on it--And then to also SAVE the RECORDINGS to an external USB Storage Flash Drive. Then you can transfer those recordings to your computer or any other USB Device. Also you can transfer your recordings straight into a computer by connecting a USB Cable from the keyboard to the HOST Computer. Also in addition to all of these pluses--you can even purchase and download Midi Songs from MusicSoft and save these songs and then transfer them to the keyboard and play them on the keyboard. So there is a lot that you can do with this economically priced Keyboard and I have really enjoyed using it.........

What fun, I like the background music and drum beat. I replaced a Casio, older model for the Yamaha. It's lighter, more compact, more modern. Renewed my excitement in playing..
