Feature:
The features available heavily influnced my decision to buy this amp. Sweepable hi/lo pass filters(12db/oct), bridge-dual mono-stereo switch, On/off output mutes, low power consumption, 2U case and relative light weight. None of the other entry level amps offer all this.

Quality:
Build quality looks strong both externally and internally. Well laid out and easy to use controls. A rigid case with pro quality connectors that should last many years.

Value:
Value? This amp provided may target features, power, and weight at a cost only slightly above some of the competitions enrty level offerings with none of the features. Comparable to a QSC PLX, only cheaper.

Sound:
As with the older "big-iron" Yamaha's I have owned/used, the sound quality is top notch. I'd rate it a step up from any of the entry level offerings from Crown, Behringer, Peavey, Mackie and the like. Clean, smooth power all night long. It seems to handle loads much better that the older amps I have, stays much cooler driving dual 15" subs, and responds smoother when driven into clipping.

Overall:
Overall I'm very satisfied with the amp, and will replace others I have with more of this line.
