It's a great value for the money spent and works as advertised. It doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles and it doesn't need to have all those bells and whistles. It works!
Sound
The sounds are directly off the Yamaha DTXplorer Brain and everything works well. It's a good monitor for the price. Plenty loud enough and the base is very good with it. I would recommend this for anyone getting a set of electronic drums if they want to listen to themselves without the headphones. I have adapted mine so I record through midi to the computer and monitor back out of the computer so I can either go to the monitor or to the headphones or to a monitor ear piece. everything is very configurable to your needs.
Features
I find the volume of base and tweeters being seperate is a nice feature on this product. due to the fact that you can only turn the volume of the entire set up and down off the brain it makes for mix of base and treble easy.
Ease of Use
Take it out of the box, follow the directions 5 minute set up very easy comes with the mounts for you to install on your rack.
Quality
Quality is good nothing to complain about.
Value
I find this being $100 cheaper and 10 watts less than the other that the 10 watts doesn't make a big difference as you would be plugged into the PA to play through and monitor back through a stage system anyway.
Manufacturer Support
Did not need any support as of yet stills works as advertised right out of the box
The Wow Factor
Monitor system is not sexy at all, it's a piece of equipment that looks like all other monitors no need for eye appeal on this!
