It should serve my needs indefinately. I looked at Mackie, Behringer, Carvin, and many others, but Yamaha offered the most features for the best price.
Sound
The sound quality is quite good for the price. I was very impressed with the built-in effects.
Features
It has all you need in a mixer. Plenty of connections for any application. Comes with mounting brackets.
Quality
Built like a tank. All metal construction. The faders feel smoother than any Mackie.
Value
It's worth every penny and then some.
Manufacturer Support
I've had no problems with the mixer, so I haven't had to contact Yamaha, but their site is fantastic.
The Wow Factor
I think it's a good looking mixer. The blue is certainly different.

"It won't disappoint"

I expect the mixer to serve me for quite a while, at least until I can afford a soundcraft.
Sound
The sound was better than I expected for the price I paid for the mixer. The effects processor isn't stellar, but it is better than other, more expensive effects units I've used.
Features
It has almost anything you will need. The graphic equalizer does a good job in a small setting and can be switched off if you want you use an external device. Like I said, the effects are pretty good. There are plenty of connection possibilities and the sub groups are handy. The only real downfall of the board is that it does not have main inserts. Most people probably won't even need them, but I wish that Yamaha would have went the extra mile on that. All and all, a great value!
Quality
It's built solidly and like someone else said, the faders are smoother than on Mackie boards.
Value
For the price, you can't beat it.
Manufacturer Support
I've only been to their site. It's not the most user-friendly, but I found the info. I was looking for.
The Wow Factor
It's good lookin', as mixers go.
