I sold my stingray to get a thumb bass . If you into slap this bass is a beast , it also sounds spectacular finger style . If you play r&b... rock ... funk ... jazz . Reggae .... blues this bass is tone monster . The action on my bass is right on par with my Alembic Essence . It’s fun to play ... beautiful craftsmanship... zero neck dive . That’s why I got 4 string
Sound
The only complaint I have is this beautiful bass didn’t come with case. I had extra case that had beater bass in it . To me a bass of this quality should not have gig bag
Features
The wood is beautiful... the craftsmanship impeccable.... the action is low with zero free noise . Its extremely fun to play and sounds amazing
Ease of Use
The bass is simple with 3 knobs .. Vol... pick up blend knob .... and stacked knob for bass/treble . I love the bass just as it is there is nothin I would change
Quality
The craftsmanship is impeccable
Value
For a bass of this quality the price is fair
Manufacturer Support
Just purchased my bass 3 months ago
The Wow Factor
The bass is sexy ... well balanced... beautiful wood that resonates . You can play this bass without amp and it still sounds great.

The Thumb 4 piratically plays itself in your hands. The action is smooth and deliberate almost like a fretless but its a dance band animal! This guitar makes you want to get funky and play it cool at the same time with a smooth Jazz sound that growls when the dance floor gets hot. As much as I love playing P Bass these W A R W I C K S have RnB and take the low end to a new place of sonic invention.

"Warwick Master Series Thumb Bolt On"

Where to begin: this bass is crazy beautiful! Wooden tuning pegs and back cover are gorgeous. Features are unbelievable as well: lithium ion battery that charges from USB, massively adjustable with multiple bridge adjustments, adjustable nut. Amazing gig bag in black leather with lots of case candy: wax, cloth, two sets of strings included, backup battery, certificate. I changed the strings to Ken Smith Ultralights. Bass plays like a dream, sounds amazing: incredibly bright, particularly with the Warwick strings. Fantastic slap sound, upper register solos are clear and sing. My favorite bass...worth the extra $1k for Master series.

"Not bad for the price"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This bass is quite a bargain at this price. I swapped out the pickups and the nut and it really came alive. I had to shim the fretboard to get it to play right but once I was done setting it up I fell in love with it. The volume nob is a little loose on mine and makes a crackling noise but it's not noticeable when my amp is turned down.
