"Best Phaser I've ever tried"

I was stuck between buying this phaser, the MXR Vintage 74 phaser, and an EHX Small Stone. This one is amazing. I used to have a regular MXR block logo phase 90. This thing is 100 times better than that. It is just as good as the MXR Vintage 74 in terms of sound. But, this one is better you get a bright blue LED, True Bypass, and you can power it with a power supply. It sounds good on all settings, and it isn't noisy like some EHX pedals can be. You get instant RUSH phasing and Van Halen too. It sounds great clean and distorted both before and after distortion. But it's pretty strong when you use it after distortion, which I like because it sounds crazier! Whirlwind for the Win!
Sound
The sound quality is amazing. Clean and Crisp. Smooth Warm phasing. Never harsh or craps out when you pick hard or use a lot of distortion.
Features
One Knob. Believe me you don't want more. Keep it Simple. Even comes with a little pouch bag for it, and some stickers for fun.
Ease of Use
Super easy to get a good sound. Honestly, it sounds great on every setting! My drummer could tell the difference between my old phaser n this one. Even he likes this one way more.
Quality
Super Super well made! This thing is the best I've tried. Definitely worth twice the price of my old phase 90.
Value
If I lost it, I would try and it find cheaper but if I couldn't, I would buy it at this price and not regret it. Definitely worth the extra $20 when compared MXR 74 vintage phase 90.
Manufacturer Support
No need yet.
The Wow Factor
Looks great. The blue LED is BRIGHT!!! Sounds amazing. Instant 70s tone. If you don't believe me check out a youtube clip and I think you'll agree this thing sounds awesome :)

I couldn't decide between the Whirlwind and MXR version of the classic Phase 90 pedal. What ultimately made me choose the Whirlwind was that it's true bypass, has a nice bright led, and has a softer, warmer swirl than the MXR (which tends to be a little more wooshy if you know what i mean). I like to set this pedal between 8:00 and 10:30 on the dial for that nice slow phase. Adds great texture to your solos. Remember that the guy who runs Whirlwind was the original MXR guy, so you're getting a real deal Phase 90 here.

This pedals sounds lovely. I have a red witch moon phaser and a couple old Oberheim phasers and a moogerfooger phaser. All of these are exceptional phaser and Orange Box is a quite the wonder. It’s just so easy to set a good sound with it and unlike the block mxr phaser, it really mixes in with your tone and doesn’t have that distorted crunch at the top of the phase like the phase 90 block does. Which suggests it has more headroom for your signal. I have this in my chain now basically because it is so simple to find a great sound with, and most of the time, unless I’m trying to experimental with it, I don’t want to be fiddling with knobs to get the right sound. This little beast really does it right. You will definitely appreciate the simplicity and lush sounds you get from this pedal :)

I fell for the HYPE.This pedal has received myriad rave reviews as the penultimate "Script Logo" Phase 90 pedal.I ordered the Orange Box and A/B'd it with my MXR Phase 95 and found that the MXR is not only capable of higher speeds, it doesn't filter out the higher frequencies which the Orange Box does to a slight degree.Simply put, they sound virtually IDENTICAL.What's more, the Phase 95 encompasses the Phase 90 AND the Phase 45 with a button to switch between the "Script Logo" and "Block Logo" incarnations. (And it's $40 cheaper. And it too is "true bypass".)I love phasers, I find them "stunning". I wanted to love this pedal but it's going back.
