I bought my Washburn WD-20S in 1995 and still have it. I am just looking at upgrading but it isn’t easy as this guitar has been so good and has only got better. I have been playing a fair few guitars in my local guitar shop and it looks like I will have to go north of $3,000 to get something that sounds better and is more comfortable to play. This says so much for the WD-20S, it was a great guitar to learn on and then grow with.

I was hoping for a keeper, but Buzzing on multiple frets. The D string sounded more like a sitar on frets 5-10. I did adjust the truss and was able to get rid of some low E buzzing on a couple frets. Nice sound when strumming basic chords. Returned because of fret buzz. Really wanted a rosewood/ spruce Washburn, but none at my local shop. Ended up settling with a Yamaha.
