I just could not believe the sound this guitar body produce, and it looks flawless, sold my Taylor 214ce not happy with the sound when plugged, and the the Washburn just sounds better to my ears just a beautiful balanced sustain and the fhishman elec. sounds fantastic, action was a litle hi for my taste but that's no problem. zzounds makes it easy to get what you want. very happy customer.

I am very happy with the quality of build, the tone woods and playing ease this guitar offers. I did change the strings to Martin Acoustic FX 80/20 Bronze Custom Light ..011 ~ .052 as I have found these strings to be a bit easier to fret even though I play frequently it gives the fingers a break. The guitar is very beautiful and I really like the arm rest feature that is only found on higher end guitars. I have been playing for over 50 years with part of that doing gigs. Wayne C

Great sound, great wood, great build, great appointments. AND gorgeous, AND (with the armrest) wicked comfortable. I would gladly have paid much more for this guitar - but I'm glad I didn't have to! Out of the box it has a full, balanced, present sound which I can only imagine it getting better with time.

Musical Background:

I've been playing music for 37 years and teach guitar (and bass) for a living.

Musical Style:

Most kinds of rock as well as blues, reggae, and funk.

This guitar is simply amazing for the price. You can definitely see that time was taken in the craftsmanship and the on board electronics sound awesome when plugged in. I had to change the action a little but about 20 min and a new set of strings made this thing play like butter.

This guitar sounds as good, if not better, than many models I've played costing 2-3 times more. Mine played fairly well right out of the box. But, with some slight adjustments, it is now playing like butter. Seriously, in its price range, you'd be hard-pressed to find better.

Overall i would say this is a great guitar, I have owned a lot of high end instruments including Martin guitars. This one is not quite as good in sound as a good martin, but it is close. The main problem with this guitar is that when you receive it you will not be able to play it straight out of the box. It will require some setup work immediately. If you do not know how to set up a guitar then that means you are about to spend more money before you can even play it, but once you get it set up to your liking, it is a great guitar.

I play 5-string banjo, upright bass, and acoustic guitar. I started playing Banjo around 1988

I am very pleased with this guitar, for the price i paid it sounds excellent, and it plays well too. The only problem with this guitar is if you do not know how to do setup work on an instrument, then you will have to take to a guitar tech immediately after you open it. I am a lifetime musician and my father is a luthier so i grew up around instrument building and musicians. I did the setup my self, one of the most important things that it needed was a truss rod adjustment which is a simple procedure if you understand how it works but if you do not , then you could twist the neck and that is definitely not cool. But overall, this is a very nice guitar for the money and i got it on the Play as You Pay plan which is awesome in itself.

i play 5-string banjo, upright bass, and acoustic guitar

I play bluegrass, folk, and a little mixture of other types of music
