The only negative thing I could say: The strap pins. They're bigger than normal -- too big to use normal "clip over" style straplocks. Those are my favorite kind of strap locks, and so I'm annoyed. If something happened to this instrument, I would cry tears of blood and then go buy and / or steal a new one.
Sound
The sound of the pickups themselves get a 9, but due to the brilliant design and overall versatility, I'm going with a 10. These sound just about as good, if not better, than any other random professional guitar pickup. Great clarity. A bit better clean that distorted IMO, but that's very subjective.
Features
Just read the description of what it can do. It has one of the nicest electronics systems I've ever seen in a guitar. Also a lot of pretty "dressings," but not too many. Just enough to present itself as an extreme versatile players instrument that could double as a real studio workhorse. The gig bag it comes with is very nice, being "plated" to a degree that makes me feel safe using it to transport the instrument to and from gigs. It comes with pretty decent strings (D'Addarios) as well. I changed them as per my preference, but its nice to know that your instrument will arrive strung with something respectable.
Ease of Use
Although the pickup system is vast, the switches are very easy to use, reach, etc. and it doesn't take much brainpower to work it out. In my opinion it is quite a bit more intuitive than say, a Fender Jaguar or vintage Cipher.
Quality
I've seen a lot of guitars in my day, and this is second only to my Ibanez Prestige in build quality -- and a close second. Literally there was not a single blemish on the entire thing coming out of the box. I'm flabbergasted. Even the setup was perfect. I have never pulled an instrument out of the box before in this condition.
Value
Easily one of the best guitars in its price range.
Manufacturer Support
I've never dealt with Vox concerning their guitars, but I have regarding some amplifiers. They have always been very prompt, informative and helpful.
The Wow Factor
The teaburst finish is just straight up gorgeous. No picture I've seen on the Internet even comes close to doing it justice. The binding, the inlays.... from a pure looks standpoint, this is one of the nicest looking guitars I've ever seen.
