If your looking for the old school tube tremolo found on vintage amps this is the pedal for you. Quality pedal made in the US .Only thing I didn't like is the volume bump when the engage the pedal, I have to keep the volume on the pedal around 9 o clock to keep the gain flat.

"If it's tremolo you want, this is the one to get!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This pedal has met every expectation I had, and produces superb sound without noise or other hassles. Step on the footswitch and play. The Voodoo Lab unit produces cleaner, more authentic (I'm old enough to have lived through the 60s) tremolo sound than other units I tried, and I'd replace mine right away if it broke or disappeared. It's priced a bit more than some others, a bit less than some others, but of the half dozen or so that I tried, this unit was the best by a wide margin.
Sound
I'm not a fan of add-on pedals and effects, but my budget doesn't allow me to spend thousands of dollars on a vintage amp that just happens to have that 60s tremolo effect. I've used it for nearly a year, and for a change, the advertising hype seems accurate -- the sound is (or you can easily make it) "buttery" and seductive, or hard-edged and stuttering. It adds nothing to the tone of your amp, and at least with my Fishman amp, it produces no noise at all in the background. This is good stuff!!
Features
The four dials really do affect the way your guitar sounds through the pedal, and I was surprised to find how sensitive they are to small adjustments, with consequences you can hear through your guitar and amp right away. It has its own volume control, which I find really useful, since it doesn't affect the overall volume when I'm playing, just the volume of the tremolo itself.
Ease of Use
I had to play around with the various controls for a while to get a feel for which dial does what, and how the combinations sound, but as a previous reviewer wrote, once you find a sweet spot (or 3 or 4) that you like, the tone and sound is just gorgeous.
Quality
The box seems sturdy enough, as do the dials. I've read reviews elsewhere by some players who think the foot switch is flimsy, but it seems plenty sturdy to me, and I've had no mechanical or electrical problems at all. I don't have a backup for this unit, and don't feel I need one (mostly because I'm not that dependent upon effects). If it broke, I'd replace it right away, but not in "panic" mode.
Value
This tremolo pedal seems to me an excellent value for the dollar. It's kind of a specialized effect, but for some songs, and especially for solo work while someone else is carrying the heavy load playing rhythm, this tremolo is dynamite. Really excellent period sounds for a reasonable price.
Manufacturer Support
I've not had to deal with Voodoo Labs at all, so I can't speak to the first few questions here. I've not needed the warranty, and repairs or servicing have not been necessary in the 8 months I've had and used the pedal.
The Wow Factor
I wanted to be able to produce/get that 60s tremolo sounds, and don't much care what the unit looks like. It looks like an effects box, which is fine with me. The sound has lived up to my every expectation.
