Very straightforward and simple to set up and use; some speaker stands I've seen require coaxing and pulling on one leg at a time to finally get a point all will move together, but not these.

This is where ZZounds shines . . . do not be afraid to buy re-stocked items from ZZounds, fearing components may be damaged or missing; I bought the re-stocks being offered by ZZounds and one of the stands came with a missing adapter (to convert from 1 1/2" to 1 3/8" speaker socket); the customer support department was knowledgable and thorough in accurately determining the part that was needed, and had TWO of them shipped directly from the manufacturer. Couldn't ask for more!

The TS-80 stands are a great price for what you are getting. Very heavy duty, and the tripod at the bottom is very wide, so you never get those worries about the whole thing falling over at a show. They also come with an extension at the top which adapts to different speakers, mine are QSC.

Overall 9 because I know something that breaks or is lost can be replaced by the company that stands behind the stand.
Quality
I've had the screws strip out and the nuts fall off and the covers get lost... and the company replaced them! That can't be said for the On-Stage stuff I have that will ahve the same probs.
Value
You get what you pay for and more in the long run.
