I don't know where to start....I love my little recorder. I have a super talented youth performance group I record frequently.I take this gem around with me because it is soooo compact. The sound is amazing and clean. The reverb is also great. The only con is track number doesn't show when song is loaded....THAT IS SO DUMB that Tascam did that.

After three months the thing broke on me - literally a day or two after zZounds' return policy ended. THANKS FOR THE HELP WITH THAT, GUYS! Tascam was not helpful either... Wasted my money.

40 years as a pro musician and audio engineer I've always known Tascam as being top of the line and reliable. Now it's just another piece of Chinese garbage. Whats worse is this unit comes in a 32 channel mixer/recorder! THIS UNIT DOES NOT PASS THE AUDIO TEST. It sounds like the sound is being smothered. Like a noise gate is on and gone wild. We've all heard the saying, 'garbage in garbage out'. Unfortunately this unit is great in garbage out. I will never be able to trust Tascam to have the unprecedented quality of yesterday. It is now notable as The A typical garbage for today and tomorrow the Chinese produce. Shame on you Tascam for not having any quality control or direction.

Real musicians do not play hip hop. There is no music in it.
