Cymbals are not the best, but also not the worst I have ever heard... I used to play with 6 Zildjans...so nothing can compare. For an affordable set they are more than adequate .
Sound
I bought this set for my 11 year old son. As a former drummer that played a big Slingerland 6 pc.set, I am very pleased at how these sound. I spent an extra $200-$250 to get this set over a lower grade beginner set. Well worth the extra cash because he will be playing these for years to come with no need to upgrade unless he turns into a Niel Peart.
Features
Very good hardware for the price.Rock solid when I am hitting them as hard as I can. So I know they can handle whatever my 11 year old throws at them.
Ease of Use
If you have ever owned a drum set in your life, it will take you about 45 minutes to set this up.I never looked at the instructions, but if you have never put a set together, I would guess it would take about 1:15 - 1:30 hours tops to get it together . Looked at the instructions later and they were very good.
Quality
Look great ....Sound great...I have always liked Tama & glad they make more affordable sets. This is not a low end drum set....it is built solid & will last a long time! I read that some people did not like the heads...actually I was quite surprised at how good these sound. Heads are cheap and you will probably need to replace them with in a year or two anyway . That would be the time to up grade if desired.
Value
This is a lot of drum set for the money. Do not buy a used set for a couple of hundred less.... get this new and you won't be disappointed.
Manufacturer Support
No problems and do not see anything that could possibly go wrong with this purchase.
The Wow Factor
Once again.....with price in mind .....this is a great buy. Bass pedal is about an 8 out of 10. Hi Hat is the same.

Ill use this drum set until it gets worn out and doesnt put out like it does now. which it will be awhile.
Sound
I gave this a 9 because the sound of everything is great but once you put other heads on it, it makes it sound way better. I put Remo Black Suede heads on the toms and a remo emperor x head on the snare drum and it sounds amazing. You dont need to change the bass drum head but you can stick click pads on it and it sounds good.
Features
It comes with cymbals and stands and they sound good. I did change out the china and put a better one on and bought 2 splash cympals for it. I love how it came with everything I needed besides the extra cymbals i bought and the double pedal.
Ease of Use
Most of the drum heads came already on and tuned. I only had to put the head on the bass drum and the floor tom and it didnt take long.
Quality
i've had this set for a year and the only damage is from me dropping one of my toms and having it hit a guitar but you can barely tell since it was a rack tom. The paint hasnt gotten messed up and its been out in the garage with 100 degree heat outside and it has a few rain drops hit it but the paint and sound still hold up.
Value
I've had this for awhile and its been perfect. The only thing I needed to change was the drum heads and buy a double pedal. Im ugrading my set right now and buying new cymbals and accesories for it and one more tom to have 3
Manufacturer Support
I've never needed support because I know how to handle my drumset
The Wow Factor
the black paint is amazing and you cant see any damage that it may have

I plan on keeping this set and will probably just add to it - I chose it because it was complete with hardware, throne and cymbals and I have been away from drumming for quite some time. I got the "itch" several years ago to replace my old 3 piece set but could never pull the trigger. I started having regrets and decided for the money it was a small investment considering the playing field I'm glad I did it I've been having a blast !
Sound
The cymbals sound cheap but they were included in the kit and makes it "ready to rock" outta the box
Features
The china cymbal comes with the kit and is a nice feature I doubt I would have bought it seperately and makes it nice to mix up the sounds.
Quality
Honestly I was amazed at the quality of the hardware given the price. It is sturdy and has several options for adustments to accomodate any custom setup.
Value
Overall you really can't beat the value it's a great beginner set and has everything you need to get started except the sticks. I do plan on replacing the heads and cymbals but I wouldn't hesitate if you're a beginner or a hobbyist.
The Wow Factor
I have the vintage red and it definitely catches your eye
