I have not received my new Iron Cobra double pedal, but I've owned one of these in the past. This is a product designed to last a lifetime. Iron Cobra is a smooth, responsive, adjustable, customizable work of art. I've tried the Demon Drive from Pearl, the Axis longboard, and DW 3000 and 5000 series and they all feel too light, too frail and too temporary when compared to the Tama Iron Cobra. This was designed to be stomped on, kicked around and abused for years and years. This will be my first new one, and I'm looking forward to getting it set up and going nuts with it. Thanks, zZounds!

I have been gigging for 20 plus years, always had dw double pedals- I got this as a back up and as soon as I opened the box I knew I found something special- this pedal feels more solid, is way more user friendly, the adjustable aspect is so much better then the dw5000, from assembly to fluidity to packing it up- hands down , in my opinion, better and cheaper than my trusty dw- although I am using the dw beaters on it because the Tama were a little light feeling for me- I am so happy with this - don't hesitate - buy it !!!
