I am powering my golight 4x10 with a markbass little mark tube 800 @ 4ohms. i havent run out of headroom. No sub and dont need one! Killer cabinet. I think SWR has a new loyal customer.
Sound
No complaints! I was skeptical of the new lightweight cabinets not being able to push enough air, now im a believer! CLARITY. LOW END. VOLUME.
Ease of Use
56 POUNDS! As light as my Hartke 2x10! With casters! and MORE POWER!
Value
If you can afford it, buy it. You will get what you pay for + more.

I have the Headlite and the Golight Cabinet together as a set. Done be fooled by the fact that the Healite is only 400 watts. Ive used it in the same room where I usually use an 810 and a Ampeg Svt 7 pro and it was almost as loud. The volumes arent what make this setup so great though. Its the tone produced at loud levels. Its articulate and clear and has a nice fat burp to it. The best tone i personally have ever had. This was with a 2011 American Deluxe 5 string Jazz bass. The cab itself doesn't weight much and is an easy move. The casters are pretty standard and about what most cabs of this size and price range come with. GK uses better casters but hey /shrug. Mine came with black carpeting as opposed to the grey in the picture which i think looks better anyway. If you are eeven considering this cab, pick it up. I compared it strait up to the GK 410 neo 4 ohm and the Golight blows it out of the water. I also think it sounds better then the Ampeg Pro neo 410. 50 lbs, the power handling, tone, and how small this thing is is what makes it such a great value. its even better when you use a coupon code and get a discount. you wont find anything in the same proce range that keeps up with this cab I have tried them all. You have to spend at least another $300-400 to get better, and its not by a noticeable margin. Save your self the money and head ache and buy this cab, From Zzounds.

"light weight!!"

I've been playing bass for a while now and i used to own a 100 lbs 4x10 cabinet. I do not hire movers everytime i try a new band so i made the switch to this 4x10 neo speakers enclosure. It sounds a bit brighter than my regular 4x10, but you can handle that by turning the "high" eq knob down a bit. I really appreciate the dimensions and weight. it's easier to fit in a compact sedan than my previous cab. The features are ok, but not great for the price. This cab is not bi-amp, it's only full range. This means if your amp head is bi-amp you will not be able to boost or cut the tweeter and woofer as you can do with other cabs. It's definitely not built like a tank. the front grill is a little weak to me, but not as flimsy as that on the Golight 1x15, which is ridiculously put there for the look rather than for the protection. Overall, it's a nice sounding and easy to carry around bass cab, but features could be slightly better, including a full range/ bi-amp mode switch and it could be made a little bit stronger to truly be roadworthy.
