"Huge let down with the longevity of this product."

Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I am look asap, I was satisfied for the most part, the searching function "fast forward", is kinda annoying. Using the jog wheel is annoying it doesn't keep up with my need for speed cueing.
Sound
I guess the sound is fine if you get the right bitrate's for your songs.
Features
would like to have had the usb ports on it, but this has been out longer than other table just coming out and using usb ports. Would love to have had sd or micro sd slots, that has been around for quite a bit. Don't know how latency will work.
Ease of Use
The features are very nice and the effects are good sounding considering that's not Stanton's focus. BUT understanding the assigning of sound to hot cues and samples, even with using the manual is very effing annoying. It also sux that you have to engage each effect b4 you can set the parameters for it. All effects are tied to the same parameters also, so if you have a range of 0-200, and your desired effect is at 140 and another effect is at 100, then ALL the effects are at 140, or whichever is the last parameter you set. Folder browsing is very simple, thank gawd.
Quality
Buttons seem pretty durable, but seeing as i had to send BOTH tables in after only having for 4 months, these suck in quality. The cd drive that is in there is the worst part. Not only cause they both crashed, but because searching through a song and preparing a beat is a very annoying time sink. Not even a month after I finished paying them off, one of them stopped reading discs. I sent it in for repair, free of charge except shipping. I didn't mix for awhile because I was gonna use both cd's for my podcast. I still have my vinyl tables so I figured I'd go for a spin with one cd and my vinyl. Now the OTHER table won't read discs!!!! It worked when I sent the first one in, now all of a sudden I use it and it doesn't work. I thought it was gamble to buy stanton, but did anyway. I'm not a firm believer in highest price is the best and end all quality, but I may go that route from now on. I'm pissed, and now my show is 2 episodes behind, cause all I have is old vinyl.
Value
cheap price lots of features with the loops and hot cues. Considering all the crap im going through and the faults in this product the over all value is low. I'm including the time i've lost mixing, podcasting, and teaching other ppl.
Manufacturer Support
Support was cool and knowledgeable, they only things I didn't like were the fact that I had to pay to ship the product $20 x 2!!!!!!! Also to get an update on the status of my product I have to send an informal email to my rma guy and get an even more informal email back.
The Wow Factor
not sexy, but well lit, and layout is pretty nice.

"3 Times Burned"

Overall: 0.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Right up to the point when your looking at it say I just got it and it is already malfunctioning..... six months to one year no doubts.
Sound
what sound????? Oh yeah; the sound of silence no play. The(no disc) flashes on when you have just tried to play a new unscratched disc self made or store bought. Press eject and you can see that the disc has not even turned. Yeah, I bought Three of these at three different months with in the last 24 months. This product has the look but not the reliability. It is the fact that they would put this product out there in the first place. They know it fails! it is not worth the cost or time to buy this and fool around with the cost of replacement or repair. You know it already so back away. You have been warned! This is what you sell or give to your enemy no matter how much you pamper the c324 Stanton mp3 CD player it is designed to self destruct. paper weight / Art work that lights up but won't last. If I could right a not to my self and send it back in time would I listen? I don't Know but It would read you are about to spend 1,600 on this product and it will need to figure out how to not do this or really put every dime away to get something better after you get this one That will fail you in the next few months.
Features
If it is just going to fail why spend the time to learn features on it? A power cord and an RCA cord with some information where the fine print is saying how difficult that they want to make it for you to get them to make it right. In fact (they) Stanton knows that this product has a common problem and people that buy this product may not have taken this time to say the truth like I am. This is a bad deal. I will tell you a 100 % failure rate in 24 months on three different occasions -- Hopping for the best case scenario . May be their was some kind of Electromagnetic Pulse that has been hitting the earth or something but the rest of my equipment is just fine. so it boils down to one thing do you have money to burn; time to kill getting it right; or a game plan to buy buying some other player when it fails you? You take your pick.
Ease of Use
If it is not working it is not easy to use, or is it? If you cannot trust them to make a quality product it is not easy on your mind to use it. the Learning curve is based in part on the length of time it remains working curve, to not working and getting it replaced cure or just get another curve. however easy that is for you determines your ease of use.
Quality
Wow really? one point for look and the fact that it will light up. Will it actually play the disc 'YOU DON"T KNOW' Big Question..... in fact I will change my answer to worst. They have taken and stolen from me for the last time. Three times and 1200.00 later and you are out.
Value
Bad Deal strait out "run Forest RUNNNNN !!!!!!"
Manufacturer Support
They Need to ask this question cause it is simple they have a problem and you will not solve it with a phone call at all......
The Wow Factor
"I want it...... to work!" Although Pampered it will not work.

"Very solid product with tons of features for a very low price"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
It sounds like a CD player. It accurately reproduces sound
Features
Honestly this unit has all the bells and whistles you could ever ask for. Sampler, effects, mp3 playback, a nice big control wheel and everything else I could think of. Great features for the price.
Ease of Use
Well it's their top-of-the-line unit so it has a lot of features. Lots of features makes for a steeper learning curve. But it's not hard to use.
Quality
So far it seems very solid.
Value
Amazing value for the price.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't dealt with support yet.
The Wow Factor
Very sexy.
