I am not a Squire fan at all, but this bass is actually not bad at all. Only required a minor setup. Will be changing out the pup. Flat wound strings are a must for any bass. I would buy another if needed.

Upgrade the pots and the pups and this is a fun bass. If you are recording you might want something better. Then again at this price you don't really need to baby it too much.
