I have a butterscotch blond Affinity with a white pick guard that transports me back 50 years every time I plug her in! I have a Strat that is from the Affinity series so I knew what I was in for, a killer guitar at killer price. I will be honest, I was hesitant to buy a Squire, I have played them before and even owned a Bullet, Im not a "guitar snob" but I was not impressed with Squire as a whole...untill the Affinity series. These guitars are closer to a Fender Standard then they are other entry level instruments. Set up your guitar properly and you will be hard pressed to tell the difference between your Affinity and its American big brothers. I cant get over how beautiful my Tele is, the Maple neck has all kinds of cool grains coming thru the finish, seems like Squire is really raising the bar, the new Vintage series are also really nice guitars!
