Calling this a "Hard Side Bag" is a little misleading. This is a soft gig bag with absolutely no support for your guitar. That being said, the nylon material appears strong and the zippers seem adequate. if you're transporting a beater acoustic around town, (which is what I'm doing), this fits the bill at the right price. Don't try and lay your case on it's side, because it will topple. Also, with no support for the headstock and neck, you'll be constantly tuning. Overall? Not bad. There are better choices, however, but ordering and shipping from zZounds was quick and painless.

I just received this bag and have to completely agree with the previous reviewer. This is a soft side bag with NO side support at all. It is a moderately good bag at a moderate price. Extra storage space is good, and it will be sufficient for transporting an acoustic guitar to events while traveling in a protected environment (ie...car trunk or seat). It is after all a BAG for transporting a guitar to a GIG! But, Hard Sided.....NOT!

Playing guitar for a few years for pleasure and in church band, using alternate style due to crippled hands.

Mostly religious, some Celtic and some pop western (Nelson, Rogers, etc.)

As others have said, this bag is not hard sided. Also, no support for neck or head stock. It seems well made however. We will see how it goes over time. It will be good for protection the guitar while it's in My back seat.

as others have said, it is NOT a hard side bag. There is also no protection for the neck and head stock. I will make my own.
Quality
Well made for what it is. But I wouldn't have paid as much as I did if I had known it wasn't a hard side bag.
