"Shure se535 are qualtiy sounding earphones that good for all around fun. The changeable cable is a big factor to me."

I would buy them again in the near term if I had to replace, but who knows what the future holds.
Sound
The sound is fairly what I expected to be. They do most types of music well, but you have to play around with ear tip sizing to get the best sound along with adjusting your equalizer a little for ones taste. Everyone hearing is a bit different so what works for one may not work for others.
Features
The best feature to me is the replaceable cables. I use these while traveling and be able to change the cable is fantastic since you never know what mishaps you have on the road.
Ease of Use
The ease of use goes back to trying which different ear tips work best for you. You can only do this by trial and error method.
Quality
The shure se535 seem well made and have only a small complaint which already knew about. The problem of trying to remove the standard tips that come with them is extremely difficult. It would be best to not put any on at all. The shure olives seem the best to me.
Value
These are overpriced in my opinion for what you get.
The Wow Factor
The bronze color gives away that you have Shure earphones. Maybe try other colors other than bronze or clear. Clear seem to discolor after a while.

"Cable too short"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

1st the bad As I’m upping my in ear monitor gameFrom the 425 to the 535 the cable is waaaaay to short. I got the lmtd red and it came with a seemingly great quality cable that as a performer is way too short. Cable would pull right out my body pack if I turned my head or bent over. It made for a miserable gig.I used the hell out of both my 215 and my 425 and the cable on those are long enough and good as backups but not for my primary pair.So I gotta buy a separate longer cable. At this price point I shouldn’t have to.If I read correctly the clear pair comes with 2 different length of cableBut the ltd red ones come with the shortest cable ever. The good stuffThey sound great, the triple drivers really handle the kick, bass, guitar and vocals. I can keep my body back volume a tad lower than before which is my goal for preserving my hearing.

one word... Life Time
Features
although i love this product, i think for the price it should have came with an extra cord for use with a smart device such as an iphone...
Ease of Use
it takes a little getting use to putting on your ears, but once you learn its a breeze.
Quality
very sturdy product, well built feels like the wire itself is thick cable, very durable... the earbuds seem to be just as strong...
Value
pretty expensive but well worth it, most people think i'm crazy for buy these but only if they know what i was hearing.... :)
Manufacturer Support
haven't had any problem so i guess i give them a ten for making a great product, to where i have no complaints... lol
The Wow Factor
people hardly notice them... lol... i think thats a good thing, but to say it appeals to people that would be an overstatement, i don't even think people know what they are lol..

"Fantastic earphones"

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
I purchased a Shure PSM-300 personal wireless system, which came with the SE-215 earphones. The system was fine-BUT- the earphones were NOT! The bass was terrible, no matter what flexible tips were used, and the overall sound was "tinny"! Plus the battery life was very short. So, I decided to buy the 535's (big bucks) and see if they were any better. YES, they are!! Fantastic lows and highs and the mid-range is superb! Not only that, I do not have to run at high gain to get great sound- SO the battery life on the body pack has increased greatly. Yes, these cost a lot- BUT you get fantastic sound reproduction. So, if your looking for a great set of earphones, these will deliver in spades!

"Multiple Defective Units, Still No Working Pair"

I got these over two years ago and had to send them back immediately because the left driver died. I have never had a pair of earbuds since for more than 2 months. I’m on the 6th or 7th replacement and haven’t heard back from Shure. They said I must have earwax problems or something and that the earbuds went out because they hot clogged. I do not have otolaryngolical issues nor heavy “wax flow”. I strongly recommend another brand. There are other brands that provide better QC and support.

Sound
This is my third set of Shure in-ear monitors and, let me tell you, the best yet. I've own the 100 series, the 420's and now the 535's. The bass is full and rich while staying tight and the highs are higher and clearer than the 420's by a longshot. I'm not musician, but I value my music collection - the 535's do my music justice.
