Could not be happier with this purchase was actually going to purchase a much more expensive guitar and decided to keep within a budget glad i did. This guitar without a doubt is the" niciest" guitar in this price range i have ever played. Build quality top notch excellent woods the top has the most silking i have seen in a guitar top in this price range usually see this in very expensive guitars. wider string spacing is great very comfortable to play, the best part is the sound this guitar produces without a doubt i can honestly say this guitar has a sound that will make you stand up and notice played fingerstyle or strummed it produces a very complex yet even sound. this guitar has all the plus factors you find in a much more expensive guitars except the price. I am so happy i saved my money and bought this guitar i saved a bunch of money and could not be happier with this guitar, seagull is doing something right and i am sure this will not be my last seagull.

This my third Seagull, I own S6 folk, and the Entourage rustic,I purchased online a sws series sg drednought knowing that I would get high quaility guitar for a good price.Gave the rustic to my son.The sound and tone are exellent, setup was perfect out of the box,I use heavier gauge strings so probably will have to adjust later.Love my Seagull Guitar Collection. Been playing over 30 years and tried my share of guitars . Play whats right for you.

Love this the sound is great. Compared this with Martin, Taylor, Breedlove and a few others. Sound and playability was much superior to all those only when I looked at ones costing three times as much did I find a comparable guitar.

I like the overall sound of my seagull s6, ive played for 30 years plus, played them all, this is one of the very best values for an acoustic guitar out there,, the fret work from seagulls are much better than china or Mexican guitars.....

This guitar is fantastic, I received it in the mail very quickly, I didn't like the strings that came on it, so I removed them after the first day. When I took off the strings, I discovered that the nut wasn't glued to the neck. It was glued, but it must have came unattached, because you can see the glue residue on the nut. I had to adjust the neck, because I was getting fret buzz. These were all easy fixes, and most should be expected when buying a new guitar (except the nut issue.) But the guitar sounds so beautiful, its balanced so well. The bass is present, but not overwhelming, and the highs are bright, but not tinny sounding at all. It really is a fantastic blend of bass and treble, and the mids aren't overpowering like a lot of mid level guitars. If you are looking into buying an all solid wood guitar, but don't want to fork out a fortune, this will likely be the guitar for you! The nut width is wider than that of a modern acoustic guitar, but I really can't tell a difference, unless I'm switching between my Seagull and my Martin. But even then, its a very minute difference. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, if for some reason I didn't have it anymore.

The SWS seagull maritime is a great sounding guitar for the money. It sounds as good as my cousins $1600 Martin. I am pleasantly surprised by the fit and finish of this guitar. I would recommend it to anyone that is being hesitant about purchasing it.
