The charity of the EMG 57/66 is amazing. Mahogany sounding like basswood is great. The classic Les Paul feel is great. Fretboard spacing fits my chubby fingers with ease. What a phenom!!!

just received my solo on 08/18/2015. LOVE LOVE LOVE this guitar. lil heavy but plays beautifully. my only complaint is the battery cover doesnt seem to close tightly easy fix. This is my third guitar with active EMG pickups and i prefer this setup over the 81/85. crisp cleans, and since i primarily play heavy metal this guitar has not only the sound but the look of BAD ASS!!..better than any les paul ive owned, smoother playability than my ltd ec...

Ive been playing for over 20 years , i play a lil bass, and rythm guitar. no longer a gigging musician just play at home.
