"Awsome Seven String Guitar!"

Great guitar plays excellent very light in weight and offers awesome tone. Which is thanks to its swamp ash body maple neck/fretboard and EMG 57/66 that offer plenty of growl without sounding muddy at all. It did came a little out of tune but nothing the fine tuners couldn't fix. But I would definitely recommend this guitar to any one who is looking for a seven string guitar.
Sound
The EMGs are very articulate and sound very tight and punchy without sounding muddy at all. They sound really aggressive when distorted and really warm and natural sounding when clean.
Features
nothing really just a slightly better placing of the volume knob and pickup selector.
Ease of Use
really easy to use don't really feel a difference between 26.5 and 25.5 scale length. I did have to tune it up a little using the fine tuners only though but no biggy
Quality
Good quality there was a small dark spot one the back of the neck inside the grain of the wood but nothing I cant live with. The Floyd is pretty good considering its a 1000 series it feels much like an original in fact you probably couldn't tell the difference
Value
I actually got a price match on this guitar which came out to a really great deal so yeah its worth every penny.
Manufacturer Support
Didn't have to deal with them yet.
The Wow Factor
This guitar is amazing for metal and shredding very fast sweet sounding and just plain cool because Jeff Loomis uses this exact same model to play with.

Was looking around for a good seven string and decided to go with this based on the artist and features. I normally play a 6 so wasn't sure what to get.
Sound
I've been playing EMGs for a long time but this is my first experience with the new 57 66 set and I have to say they sound great for me. I tend to play mainly heavier and shred type stuff and it sounds excellent for that. Not too bad for lighter rock and blues either. These pickups have a lot of output so if that's what your going for you will like it. You can always roll the volume down and it works well that way too.
Features
The biggest change for me on this guitar besides being a 7 string was the 26.5 scale length. I've always used 25.5 so wasn't sure how that would feel for me. It does seem more stable but does feel a little tighter on playability but plays great. There are four springs in the back instead of three so the whammy bar feels a bit tighter but its manageable. The stainless steel frets give it a nice smooth feel and will last much longer.
Ease of Use
Takes a little bit to get used to but plays great and is an excellent 7 string.
Quality
Product seems pretty well built and should last a long time and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great 7 string
The Wow Factor
Overall very happy with this guitar. It looks, sounds, and plays great.

"7 String Killer Axe"

After spending quite some time researching what my first 7 string guitar would be, I made the choice to go with the Jeff Loomis FR in Vampyre Red, of course. I was a bit apprehensive as it was an import, but I now see that was totally irrelevant. This is a quality guitar. It also sounds huge 'cuz the guitar IS huge. Takes a bit to get used to the larger neck, but you get an added string as a bonus and it really isn't that hard to learn it. Its actually a fun challenge. I literally got the guitar the same week as my order date. Awesomeness.
