I've been wanting a 7 string for a while and being an Ibanez enthusiast I was looking at an RG2027XLbut I also love the sustain of my Jackson Pro soloist and was actually looking a Jackson 7 strings when this came up in my reviews. From the moment I laid eyes on it, I had to have her.I love the set neck and how smooth and thin more like a "D" shaped neck reminds me of my RG560 and the ebony fretboard is exquisite and the Mother of Peral inlays just add to the beauty of the 3 piece neck along the carbo fiber binding around the whole body. The EMG pick-ups are the first set of active pick-ups I eve owned and I must say I have been missing out. the EMG 57-7H in the bridge can handle the drive I can throw at it and the EMG 66-7H can play a crisp and clear lead like no other. All around just a great guitar that has no need for any upgrades at all.

The Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid C7 is an amazing guitar. It is pretty much a guitar that you cannot upgrade it comes with everything that one would want to upgrade a guitar with. The fit and finish of the guitar is perfect. The EMG 57/66 pickups are the best sounding pickups. They do it all from ripping distortion to perfect clean tones. The guitar is fairly light weight and just an over beautiful guitar. Right out of the box it was setup perfect.

I have played this guitar for well over a year and it is still going strong. I love everything about it. For a 7 string it has a thin neck that is easy to hold. Wonderful sound and holds a tune wonderfully.
