I purchased one of the last SYN412 Hellwins which is basically the same cabinet only a straight cab. It's designed with Baltic Birch, and of course has the very sought after four Celestion Vintage 30's. If you've used a cabinet with Greenbacks that are too woody and want a cabinet that has huge fat lows, modern saturated harmonically enriched mids that beg to be played, and fluid liquid bright highs that will take you to shredding heaven this is your cabinet. This is simply the very best cabinet on the market today. I played a really nice Randall Cabinet with Greenbacks. I felt that the sound was a little stiff, but well done all the same. The head was the much loved 6505+ head. I paired the Schecter USA Hellwin SYN412 with 4 Celestion Vintage 30's with a Peavey Valve KIng II 100 watt head. The combination is mind blowing and perfect for metal shred, hard rock, and solos, solos, solos. This cabs speakers (Celestion Vintage 30) have been on counteless hit albums of some of the biggest hitters in Metal, and hard rock. This cab will not disappoint. If you want a mind blowing metal, hard rock, modern rock, power rock cab this cab will be the only one you will ever need live or studio. It's simply the best.
