I got one of the first three ever made. The first three were made with the goat head upside down on the lefties. Hey I could have waited for one the was facing the correct way but I got a free case and shipping out of the deal. I plan on purchasing another one of these and keeping the red Emg pickups in it and using it for my other band. This is my main guitar. This guitar is like an old pair of slippers, when you put it on it just feels like home.
Sound
Sounds very good. The funny thing is that you can get a very good clean sound out of this as well. I do not play clean much but if you did this would do the trick. I also swapped out the Red EMG pick ups for the black. Over all the guitar performs and sounds like it should and is perfect for any kind of music.
Features
Very simple lay out. One volume with push pull pot for the neck pick up. This sounds very, very, good when split if you use your neck pick up on solo's and on the clean channel. Floyd rose stays in tune even when you abuse it. I did not like the red pickups. They should have been a little darker red. The frets need even out and polished a little better. More care should be given from the factory.
Ease of Use
The guitar plays great other than some small flaws from the factory. The balance of the guitar is a lot better than schecters other v guitars. The neck is a smidge on the thick side. The goat inlay is very cool. very simple and easy to use. Crank it and go.
Quality
Giving this an 8. Every shecter I have has come with a flaw or two that is noticeable with out looking to hard. Some guitar co. would not pass this and sell them as factory seconds. If you are buying a brand new guitar that's what you should be getting. The flaws were not bad enough to send back. Schecter needs to pay more attention to this. i would like to see these guys keep going because they make a lot of lefty's that are cool. After all this, I still love the guitar and sound of it.
Value
For over a grand this guitar lives up to the price. The case should come with the guitar for free for this price. Other company's sell guitars in the same price range and include the case.
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to deal with them but the distributors that sell them are great so far.
The Wow Factor
When I first seen this guitar I knew I had to have it. I sold a bunch of stuff I had sitting around to get it and I don't regret one bit. It is one of those guitars that just don't come along to often for us lefties in this price range. Thankfully enough the guitar's quality and sound lived up to a semi pro's level of quality. This guitar just has the MOJO right out of the box. This is a man's guitar that just has metal written all over it.

I plan on purchasing another one of these some time soon. I rarely ever buy the same guitar twice. I will need another for a back up or drop tunings. I own several guitars. I have owned this guitar for about a year and want to play it all the time. A lot of my other guitars have been put away since owning this guitar.
Sound
Sounds great. You can get a lot of different tones.
Features
Very simple. Less is better for me. Crank it to ten and go.I swapped out the red pick ups for black. The pick ups were just not red enough for me. The only reason I did this was because I had an extra set of black EMG pick ups and swapped them out to see how they looked.
Ease of Use
I really like the EMG 89 in the neck position. The coil tap in the volume pot is great. This is just not a metal guitar. It can pull off just about any music.
Quality
I'm giving this a nine because I believe the frets could be a little smoother and every Schecter I have gotten I can find a small flaw or two of some sort. This does not effect the tone and with in a week or two it is going to have a defect in it any way. Do to travel and ware and tare. Stays in tune no matter how hard you hammer on it.
Value
The quality matches the price. Very good solid guitar for the money.Schecter needs to sell guitars with the case. In todays economy you would think guitar companys would add this into the cost some how.
Manufacturer Support
Never dealt with.
The Wow Factor
The goat inlay is very cool. This may not be every ones cup of tea. The red binding and goat head inlay is very cool. Every one I show this guitar to thinks it is very stunning.
