Awesome guitar, lightweight but full of sound & quality. I normally play bass and have large hands and this is for me a perfect fit. I typically write songs and use guitar specifically for writing and composing. This instrument offers as clean as possible or contrasts to grit. I play all genres of music and have for over forty years and this guitar delivers for anything you can imagine. I did alter the string configuration and put super slinky strings on it for personal taste but it's standard strings are also a good choice. The delivery was fast, efficient and the guitar was well packaged. Straight out of the box the neck was straight, pickups were adjustable well, and the intonation was fine. This is the first time I've ever got a new guitar without playing it and I was worried about that but my doubts are laid to rest. Awesome product and price from a great company both manufacturer and the distributor. I'll definitely get other products due to the convenience and choice options.

For a starter 7 or even someone who wants a solid 7 to build up, look no further
Sound
The sound is far better than what you might expect looking at the price tag. Stock pickups suit me well and tbh, don't sound muddy like some people have said. Upgrading the pickups can only make this beast better
Features
It's pretty basic when it comes to features but that is understandable. No push pull pots or locking tuners but again, upgrade worthy. Basic volume and tone. Solid electronics. Frets are fantastic.
Ease of Use
Since this was my first 7 it was a little weird getting use to playing certain chords near the nut while also silencing the B string but after a few sessions it becomes second nature
Quality
The factory this is made out of has done a fine job on this piece of equipment.
Value
I'd say it's on point with the price considering wood choices. There are other guitars out there with the same wood combos ( basswood body, Maple neck and rosewood fingerboards ) that are going for three times as much

I just got this guitar today and I'm loving it. It's my first 7 string guitar and it's just awesome. The quality of this guitar is top notch, I mean really for under $300 you can't beat it.

"Let the Buyer Beware"

I bought this guitar summer of 2023. I tried one out in a retail store, and it seemed like a decent guitar as a backup for my Ibanez. I ordered one from zZounds, and the first one they sent me was unplayable. I shipped it back in exchange for a new one, which was a mistake. I should’ve gotten a refund. These guitars have major issues with the necks, and the frets are very inconsistent in height. At this point, my 45 day return option has ended, so I’m having to deal directly with Schecter, and not expecting much. I feel burned, and it’s doubtful that I’d fist buying another guitar made by Schecter.
