Yesterday, April 5 (Easter Sunday) was the first day I had to try the Samson SW55VSCS Wireless Headset and all I can say is..... Great product for what we needed!
Clean, clear vocals! No feedback what-so-ever, great tone and we didn't have the proper time to set it up! We just inserted a battery in the transmitter, plugged in the receiver and it worked great!
I bought two of these and we plan to wire the pastor up next!
Highly recommend this product! Great product for an even greater price!
Sound
The sound quality was very good. It was near perfect for what I do.
Features
I love the fact that it has a standby feature. At first I thought I would like to have had the on/off switch exposed but, then realized I didn't have to worry about the pop of turning it on and off if I were to accidentally hit the wrong switch.
Ease of Use
We plugged it in and went for it! It sounded superb!
Quality
Like most everything these days, the case is made of plastic but, in our situation, it's a permanent fixture so there is no worries there.
Value
I paid $139.99 for this unit and have used $500.00 units in the past..... in my opinion? It sounded as good as those more expensive units! I hope Samson doesn't read this and go up on their pricing!

I looked at a lot of wireless microphones but, chose this one because of the quality/value ratio. one of the best features that both ends of the microphone wire have a special piece of flex to allow movement with the wire breaking. this is the main (normally) with any small wire system. Iwould definitely buy another Samson product, in fact i am looking at one of their portable sound systems! ps. ZZSOUNDS provides great service from ordering to delivering!!!

I believe I wil be happy with this product for a long time and do feel if at some time I had to replace it I would buy another one.
Sound
The Samson wireless headphone work very well. I have no complaints especially for the money. Most I have use were much more difficult to setup and much more expesive and didn't give the quality of sound give by the SW55.

Its nice to get this type of headset that stay in place and very small and discrete for the price.

I personally haven't delt with Samson but I do own other Samson mikes and powere amplifiers and have been very happy with all purchases.

The headset provides better level control but we do have issue with peaking the mic gain. Need to fine tune the transmitter settings.

It is very discreet. We have a headset mic that does not look like a black ping pong ball on an extra thick coat hanger.

I purchased this headset for our church choir. It's used by the choir director/lead singer primarily. I recently used it for a guest speaker and was pleased with the results.We're still working out the kinks, signal loss and feedback....but overall for the price and type of use it's a great unit.

Originally we thought this system would provide the necessary capabilities for our Pastor. In the end we have already replaced it with a better system. Although the Headset Microphone worked great, the reception diversity electronics did not. When ever the receiver would switch from one antenna to another, it would put noise into the sound system overriding the voice until an antenna was selected.
