"Samson Concert 77. Good as the Shure SM 58 wireless at half the cost."

I'll use it till I can't anymore and then get another one.
Sound
The Q7 element is very smooth in transition and easy to adapt to. My previous mic was an Shure SM 58. I have not had any feed-back issues with the Samson. I always have feed-back issues with the Shure. I would say that the mic's EQ differently. The Shure has more bottom to the point of being muddy.
Features
Nothing to add here. It's a mic
Ease of Use
It is what it is and it works well. Just be sure to read the manuel and get an understanding of how to set the transmitter rf level and the main units squelch. Once it is set up it is plug and play.
Quality
It's fine. The previous posting of it being plastic was written by a a--. All wireless mic's are plastic. Take care of it and it will take care of you. My guitarist has an old VHF 55 that he has been using for karaokee gigs and DJ jobs. It's been dropped and had beer spilled all over it and it keeps on working and sounding fine.
Value
Big bang for the buck. Our recordings from our show this past weekend tell the story.

"Plastic, Wireless, Good Sound, Carry extra Batteries....."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is for anyone on a budget. Only time will tell durability and prolonged use.
Sound
Mobil Dj, Sound quality good, Inside better than expected clear and loud, Outside would pick up alot of background noise and would sound distorted, Overall better than my VHF mic.
Features
My old mic had on/off switch on side, which made it feel like regular mic, Switch on bottom will need time to adjust, Has battery life meter on bottom and on receiver tells you if batt low.
Ease of Use
Easy to use, manual straight foward, use balanced with mixing or unbalanced 1/4 to 1/4 cable.
Quality
Made of plastic, light, for the price! Hope no one drops it.
Value
It's not a thousand bucks does what it should. Good for the price.
Manufacturer Support
Have not used support at this time.

"rough rugged and plastic?"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
i think it's a good product for DJ's that use mics occasionally and want to move away from XLr cables. Service organizations and professional PA's may want to go with products with metal casings and better mic casing for "ruggedness" and "durability."
Sound
For the DJ gigs I used this sounded just fine. I do any reference comparisons however i'm sure using a mic cable and an sm58 would be better sound.
Features
Good features overall.
Ease of Use
It works straight out of the box.
Quality
I was dissapointed. The description says rugeed and durable. The wireless unit and the handheld are all made out of molded plastic. Build quality is fine...I just don't trust this to be functioning if it were dropped. I know if someone spilled a drink on the mic or if someone drops the mic i'll have to replace it immediately.
Value
Apparently wireless mics are expensive...I'm not sure why. I decided to go with Samson instead of a cheaper product because I know that if didn't work I could replace it again with something reliable.
Manufacturer Support
N/A haven't dealt with support
The Wow Factor
It's a matter of spending 50 bucks for a crap vs. 200 for soemthing that will be reliable out of the box but avoiding the cost of a mic that's double the price. Two for the price of one would probably work out even better.

"Excellent Benefits for the price."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
If the broke one needs replacing I will probably get a new Concert 77 handheld system on the N frequency.
Sound
We have two the older Concert 77 handheld systems. Work very well for our praise team. One of the mics is presently back at Samson for repair, off frequency. But after two years of use they are a very good value for thier price!
Features
You may have this before: I wish the power switch was accessible without removing the mic's body. Have had instances of the grill unscrewing instead of body. I do love the rx's LED meters (just wish it had a battery reporting one).
Ease of Use
Works well the exception the power switch access.
Quality
I hope the other one doesn't die.
Value
Yeah!

WE are very happy with the product. It was sold as a blemished item for a reduced price, but I found it to be in new condition and works well.
