"Works Great"

Easy install in Windows 10. Just plug it in and use it. No driver to install, download or any messages. It's a little fast response time, better than an external audio box. The package is slick, but hard to open. I respect Roland for keeping a working USB/Midi cable on the market.

Musical Background:

Play piano, synthesizer, electric guitar, all at home for fun.

"Works with Line-6 Pod"

Was hoping it would work my Line 6 Pod 2.0 and it did. Pushed the Midi button on the POD until it was in the all channel position. Old puter had died and had no way to back up tweaks and copy to my other pod. Was very glad this worked. Line 6 Edit works with Win 10, Sound Diver does not. YAY! Still use the old POD because I like the Floorboard which lets me use Wah and Volume together.

"Simple, straight forward"

There's not much to say about this other than it works like it's supposed to. Just pop in the CD-Rom, update the driver, plug-and-play. There's no apparent latency. I use it for an older digital piano (Yamaha Clavinova pf P-100) that has midi connections, but no USB port. Everything works perfectly, and I can even trigger the Clavinova's sound bank from my PC using the UM-One. I'm very pleased with my purchase - it did exactly what I wanted it to do. I will be buying another one to connect my older Korg sound module which also has no USB ports. If you're using equipment that has Midi ports but no USB, this is a very effective tool. I had read mixed reviews of some of the 4-port and 8-port Midi/USB interfaces, so I took a risk with this thing and I'm very happy I did. Can't honestly rate manufacturer support since I haven't needed it. But since it's Roland, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. As for "Wow factor", well ... Wow, something that works like it's supposed to work with no glitches. How's that?

Great, simple midi interface. Make sure to notice that it does not work with older models of the iPad.
