This is the pa system for anyone out there buy it and try it you will be happy you did thanks Roland for a great Pa Sytem.
Sound
This little amp is a supprise the sound is that of a amp 3 times the size for a show setting. I have now bought a secound so that i can spread the sound to stero and for larger shows this is a amp for just about any size show and a great reinforemate sytem.
Features
with 2 of these i will have more then i will need as far as inputs for everything are small 4 piece band need any club inside or out we can be heard with no problem. If we ever play Grand park down town i may need 2 or 4 more to cover the park but as for local shows inside or out this is a great system with just 2 cabs.
Ease of Use
Plung and play what else can you say
Quality
Built to last and a solid amp not to heavy just right for a 50 plus guitar player.
Value
Worth twice as much if not more in my eyes the companys now dont seem o care about quaility ut roland and boss do.
Manufacturer Support
Had one question about set up and Roland responded within 24 hours with good future advice and sold me on the second one with there answeres and knoledge.
The Wow Factor
Nice black looks pro like and is a pro system.

I am about to buy a second one of these having heard and or tried other PA's...these are performance masters and sound incredible ! Everything these days has a rechargeable battery which , in time , will lose power and need to be replaced...I much prefer actual batteries I can replace IF and when needed...if you're street performing and your internal battery gives up , where are you going to recharge ? Roland states 30 watts on these , but they sound more like a 100...the stereo speaker set-up and dispersion of sound is amazing... P.S... I haven't needed to deal with any Manufacturer Help...so it was not rated...

"My BA 330"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I'm a acoustic guitarist who also sings. I have a woody pick-up placed in a fender Newporter I plug directly into the 330 along with a solid peavy mic plugged into a channel. I can busk for about 6 hours at a time before I the 330 loses its juice. I don't use the energy saver ever though. After playing live a handful of times now with this roland BA 330 I would recommend it to any busker or anyone who plays small venues like coffee shops or anything around 80 people or less. If I'm playing larger venues I can use two ba 330s because they connect with each other. Great sound!! Lots of power and not to mention some great effects built into the system . I'm pleased and am working on buying #2 BA 330. Have a safe day !! Mark Henley

"Powerful addition for any duo or solo performer."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
may get another. we use indoors with the fishman as a stereo pair but may desire one for outdoor stereo use as well.
Sound
New to us but so far an incredible performer. Great sound very rich and full, way better than the smaller roland portables and close to the sound of our fishman. Very portable and rugged well made and very loud as needed. bassy sound with yamaha acoustic/electric, a good full bassy sound. with four inputs its perfect for our duo.
Features
pretty solid choice of sound adjustments.
Ease of Use
fun to adjust to achieve just the right sound wherever we happen to be playing.
Quality
very well crafted and sturdy. i also ordered the rugged case.
Value
where it also runs on battery power it is a nexceptional product for the duo or solo performer. we antici[ate extensive outdoor usage this summer and have some gigs where there are no outlet so it will be essential and couldnt be happier with the osund and output.

"The Roland BA-330 PA/Amplifier"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

This has got to be the most stupid/simple amplifier I have ever owned or experienced. And I mean that in a good way. You can get this setup and ready to perform in minutes. It's not complicated at all. And if I can set it up ANYONE can. It is however the heaviest of all the 3 amps I currently own for performing solo on the 12 string acoustic/electric guitar. It tilts the scale at just 30 pounds. I pole mount it but it has a prop leg under it that you can tilt it if you want to use it as a monitor. For effects it only has reverb and delay. That's okay because I do use an outboard TC Electronics Afterglow chorus pedal, a Janglebox Compression/Sustain pedal, and a vintage Ibanez PH-7 phase shifter. I have no regrets buying it. Did I say it was loud? Yes, it is LOUD. I own a Roland Cube Street EX 50 watt amp and an Alto Professional Battery Powered Busker amplifier. I like the fact that the Roland BA-330 is battery powered for remote performances where there is no electricity. So for buskers you will really like this amp. Battery powered amps is the way to go for versatility. Naturally it comes with an AC power cord. Buy it you will like it and probably never want to let go.

"A completely satisfying purchase after a year of use. Phenomenal results and delightful comments on our band's sound!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I rate it a 9 since there may be a better unit with even deeper bass at some point. I am also spoiled since we use this and a Fishman 220 as our PA system and together they are fantastic! The Roland easily puts out a bassier sound but together they are priceless and earn us rave comments on our great sound!
Sound
Very smooth, full warm sound. Volume well adjustable and rather louder when run off ac but battery power is fine for smaller concerts.
Features
I typically use it as a powered speaker with only 1 channel in from a board but, when needed we run two vox and two instruments in and the sound is just crystalline and pleasing! wish it had 1/8" stereo out for recording but the 1/4" work okay. the reverb is warm and real. I wish it also used a regular stereo power cord or if the cord supplied could be longer.
Ease of Use
Simple to use. A very worthy addition for our acoustic duo.
Quality
solid, excellent materials and fit. even the pull bag is solid.
Value
Compared to our Fishman and to the Bose systems that are twice it's price the Roland holds it's own! They each display their unigue sound so they should be heard but I find the Roland sound quality exquisite. The battery feature is unparalleled.
The Wow Factor
Size, quality, sound output and versatility make this a true "gotta have it", instrument. It has proven it's value several times at places where regular AC current wasn't available.

"BA-330 Gets the Job Done"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

I use this amp solely for busking in conjunction with the Roland Cube Street 2. I run the backing tracks through the BA-330 and the instrument through the Cube Street. The BA-330 can get loud outside, but the bass thins the louder it gets-- but that's no surprise considering it uses (4) 6.5" woofers. Indoors, the BA-330 is very loud and would be sufficient for a vocal/acoustic guitar gig. I've only used it once indoors with the volume knob at 3/10. I doubt it would be able to compete with drums or electric guitars. NOTE: Using the AA-batteries automatically makes the BA-330 use the "Eco-mode", which rolls off the bass substantially.

This little pa sounds great and is portable. I will probaby get a powered speak to go with it.It has several outs that will allow you to run to a powered speaker or other amp when you need more.As it is, expect to conpare it to a 60 watt acoustic amp in sound pressure... but its way more then just an acoustic amp.One drawback is no xlr output.
Sound
one of the best sounding PA's.I doubt any amp you buy will sound better for vocals.compare it to a very expensive pa system. No pa system I have owned for less then 1200.00 had a better sound.Think= Carvin, peavey, fender.
Ease of Use
easy to use.easy to get great sound.
Quality
Its a roland. of course its well made.
Value
this thing is wonderful but overpriced.
Manufacturer Support
owned many roland products never had any problems.

Okay, Purchased this for a very unique need. Wife does wedding officiating, and we also offer music to brides on the beach. So we needed something that could play some great tunes, be portable, and work well for wireless broadcasting. First off, this thing runs on 8 AA batteries, and it sounds great! Nice and loud!, its only 30 pounds and can be carried with the large handle, then easily mounted onto a speaker stand. I use it with an Ipod, which rocks out (again 8 double A batteries folks), and also with Sennheiser wireless lapel system, (also all AA batteries). Love the tray to hold the Ipod, easy to connect and use. Just read the directions and remember to start with half volume settings with the accessory inputs to get the best quality sound. Pros, its easy, we are not professional DJ's. Guest at the wedding can run their ipods and playlist. Conns, Our Wireless system would not work right on the Mic input, we just used a non mic labeled input and it works great. Not sure what is going on with that (im sure its me). So as of now, lots of testing and real world applications, this thing is rugged, loud, sounds good, great portability per the quality sound.
Sound
It sounds great, especially for an all in one unit, and WOW, on AA batteries. Start with accessory volume levels at half, and adjust the master volume accordingly.
Features
The amount and selection of inputs. Whatever cable you have, good chance it will fit somewhere on this unit. Most useful feature is the fact that it runs on AA batteries, and has a battery tray that is removable.
Ease of Use
Easy, not complicated unit.
Quality
product feels rugged. Knobs feel like they could be bumped and abused without breaking. hi quality build.
Value
This product was on the high end of my budget. I was happily surprised at the sound quality and kick it had. You get what you pay for.
Manufacturer Support
? Have not needed this yet.
The Wow Factor
WOW, I listen to this even when im not using it for work.

This is a great pa for anyone and by being able to loop more togeather is a treat if you want 4 to 8 you can do it and jam like the who blow out your ears.
Sound
it really is a great sounding support system for playing out it gives you great power even while using the batteries i plan to get a second one to make it a true pa system the reverb is good and with two im sure we should be able to play any where we wantwe dont have a drummer and the drums coming thru this is a nice sound almost like a drummer playing but you can control his sound where some drummers are to much and i put the bass line down and its clear and sounds really good
Features
has just about everything you need i would have like a little more reverb selections but it works fine and the sound makes up for any little thing it might be missing.
Ease of Use
very easy to use and the manual is very clear about everything i wish they had these years ago they dont really kill you when moving them the size is great.
Quality
seems very well built roland knows how to build stuff that people really use to the max and they stand up to the works.
Value
have to say its worth every cent and you can play anywhwere with the freedom of not needing power lines a beach or forest gig is something else at night under the stars
Manufacturer Support
Have not needed any support because there are nop problems with the unit
The Wow Factor
anything made in black that covers the speaker with a strong cover looks and feels great no need to treat like a baby its made to rock
